Since Monday, I devoted my time to be with the students of Women
Development Centre, they had final examinations and today we saw them
off to their villages-homes. Some of them may not go back to the
villages, but start to live in the centres and towns. Either borrowing
sewing machines, hiring or working hand in hand with people in their
salon. We hope they will get their own sewing machines and kits for
salon. Tomorrow Thursday 26, we travel to Musalab-Keyo celebrating the
arrival of the missionaries of CMS in 1904.

Two very striking activities before I left for an Academic
conference being hosted by Uganda Christian University. Academicians from East
African Universities are here for a three days conference and the theme is
Theology in the Public Square. Association of Theological Institutions in East
Africa (ATIEA) is behind this conference.
The two activities were Visiting two secondary schools, Graceland Girls School
and Pope Paul 11 College and commissioning of the Lay Readers.
Thanks to Rev Nekoline and Kenneth for the preparation of the Candidates who
were confirmed by the Bishop.
